Contest Rules

PRIZES

1) Radio Abilene refers collectively and individually to the stations KTJK-FM, KABT-FM, KCKB-FM, KLBY-FM, KTJO-FM, KKHR-FM, KWKC-AM, and/or KZQQ-AM, any simulcasting station or frequency, any digital presence, as well as the respective licensees.

2) Details regarding the specific contest or promotion shall be announced on air, on social media, and/or on station websites and shall include the time frame of contest, scope of prize, and any limitations on use not stated forthwith.

3) Prize estimated value is available upon request.

HOW TO ENTER

1) No purchase is necessary to enter.

2) Method of entry will be disclosed with any promotions of the contest over the air, on social media, and/or on station website.

3) Any entry deadlines for long-term contests or promotions will be disclosed with the contest announcement on station website. Radio Abilene is not responsible for failure to receive any entries due to mail, digital service, or telephone disruption or any other reason whatsoever.

4) Station reserves the right to limit the quantity of entries by any single individual, family, workplace, or within any organization at station’s discretion. Only one entry per individual or immediate family will be accepted for any major station lottery. Generally, an individual may only win a major prize once per month. This may be waived at station discretion.

5) If the contest shall be judged, winners will be selected by station staff and/or a panel of judges appointed by Radio Abilene. All decisions will be final.

6) Radio Abilene reserves the right to change these rules at any time.

RESTRICTIONS AND OTHER INFORMATION

1) Any prize received from station may not be sold. If winner is not able to use prize, winner is expected to notify the station and either make arrangements to give the prize away to another suitable person or otherwise return the prize to station to be transferred to an alternatively selected winner. Any winner caught selling any prize for cash consideration may be permanently be banned from winning any station contest at station discretion. If any prize a winner attempts to sell consists of event tickets, they may also be voided with the vendor at station discretion without notification.

2) The entity presenting the prize to the station is solely responsible for its provision, maintenance, and liabilities.

3) DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES.

Radio Abilene makes no warranty concerning fitness or merchantability of any goods given as prizes.

5) As a condition to acceptance, all prize winners must release Radio Abilene, its owners, officers, directors, managers, employees, and agents from any and all liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the prize. Failure to sign any waiver constitutes forfeiture of any prize.

6) Eligibility: Entrants must be at least 18 years of age to qualify or have a legal guardian able to claim prize on behalf of entrant. No employee, director, or officer of Radio Abilene or a contest's sponsors, or members of their immediate families, is eligible to participate in any relevant station contest.

7) Winner shall collect any tangible prize at a location directed by the station. Failure to collect the prize within a reasonable time will constitute forfeiture. Radio Abilene is not liable for the failure of any participating sponsors to furnish their portion of the prize.

8) Participation in this contest constitutes the entrant's permission for Radio Abilene to use the participant's entry, name, voice, or likeness and the fact that he/she participated in or won the contest.

9) Winners shall be responsible for any taxes imposed on receipt of the prize.

10) Failure to comply with all contest rules will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prize.
